Beth Vlasich Pav is the creator and owner of Cooking by Design Culinary Studio—located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. In this idyllic setting, Beth is a culinary educator, chef and author of numerous articles, recipes and an upcoming cookbook. Beth is a natural host and mentor. Her love for entertaining and her approachable teaching style create warm, intimate cooking classes in which students can relax and have fun as they prepare simple yet deliciously elegant dishes
As chef, Beth’s flair for combining color, texture, aroma and flavor make each of her creations a work of art. As educator, she uses her natural energy, wit and compassion to make the art of preparing beautiful and tasty meals accessible to everyone in her classes.
Cooking by Design was awarded Best Service/Caterer by the Lake Travis View: Lake and Country Living 2005. Beth’s food articles and recipes have been published in print media and on the World Wide Web.
She is a guest chef and speaker for regional news programs, wineries and fundraising and philanthropic events.
